More than 80 people descended on Dundee, Scotland, for the 2005 Accessible Design in the Digital World conference. The aim of the conference was:

"...to explore the frontiers of inclusive design in the real world, to examine the challenges in in both implementing guidelines and meeting legal responsibilities to ensure optimal accessibility for all people, regardless of disabilty or access environment.

The conference:

"...aimed to provide opportunities for discussion and debate among those at the front-line of design and development work and those providing guidance regarding accessible and inclusive design."
