We're an accessibility and inclusive design consultancy based in Dundee, Scotland.

The DMAG team is a group of researchers from the University of Dundee's External webpage School of Computing External webpage, an international centre of excellence in research on accessiblity, technology and inclusion for disabled, older people, and other socially excluded groups.

All of our services offer you the opportunity to tap directly into the knowledge and experience that we've built up over many years of academic research and through working with real people to understand how technology can best be designed to help improve their lives.

We've been doing this since 1999, and since then have helped people in industry, education, healthcare, local and national government. If you would like some advice or help on digital accessibility, get in touch. We can help you too.

How we can help you

We can provide a range of services focusing on procuring, developing and using technology to support excluded groups, in particular older and disabled people.

Our services include:

  • Audits: Accessibility and usability audits of web sites and software interfaces;
  • User Research with disabled and older people, from requirements gathering to evaluation;
  • Consultancy and training on the design and development of accessible, usable and useful digital media;
  • Accessibility policy: Advice on strategies for procuring, developing and using technology that is as accessible and inclusive as possible;
  • Advice on emerging technologies and accessibility;
  • Speaking: We can speak at your event on any accessibility related topic, such as web accessibility, inclusive design, accessible digital content authoring, for example.
