Research Background

While all DMAG members have Honours or Masters degrees in Applied Computing, we are from diverse backgrounds, giving an eclectic group of people with individual skills and interests, but a common focus on User Centred Design.

The group is ideally located, with close links to the School of Computing at the University of Dundee, one of the most important groups in the world researching into Communication and Information Technology for disabled and elderly people. It also has strong international and national reputations in other aspects of human computer interaction research and was awarded a top grade 5a in the 1996 UK Research Assessment Exercise.
